Information We Collect
Account & Caregiver Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. This allows us to securely manage your family care team.
Patient & Care Data (What You Enter)
You (and your invited care team) voluntarily provide information about the person living with dementia, including:
- Daily routines, medication reminders, meal times, and activities
- Behavior logs (pacing, agitation, sunsetting, etc.) and interventions
- Health notes, mood, sleep quality, and basic vitals you choose to track
- Task completion records and caregiver handoff notes
This is sensitive health-related information. We only collect what you choose to enter.
Technical & Usage Data
Device information, app version, crash reports, and usage patterns (anonymized where possible) to keep the app reliable and improve it.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information only to deliver and improve the Care Dementia Tracker experience:

How We Share Information
With Your Care Team
When you invite family members or professional caregivers (Premium feature), they can view and contribute to the shared patient timeline and records. You control who has access.
We never sell your data or patient information. We only share with trusted service providers (secure hosting, analytics) who are contractually bound to protect it.
Data Security
We use bank-level encryption, secure cloud infrastructure, and strict access controls. While no system is 100% impenetrable, we take your family’s data seriously and continuously improve our protections.
Data Retention & Deletion
We maintain strict compliance regarding how long we store and retain your family’s user data and health-related records:
Active Storage & Retention Period
We store and retain account profiles, caregiver details, and patient care logs for as long as your account remains active. This allows your care coordination timelines to stay fully synced and accessible to your team.
Immediate Manual Log Deletion
If you or any care team member deletes an individual routine task, behavior log entry, vital checking record, or photo inside the app, it is instantly and permanently deleted from our live cloud databases and cached files.
Full Account Deletion Purge Window
If you request to delete your account (either via the application settings or by contacting us at [email protected]), all associated caregiver data, team connections, patient history logs, and profile records will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our servers within 30 days.
Important: What This App Is — And What It Is Not

Care Dementia Tracker is a productivity and coordination tool.
It is designed solely to help caregivers keep dementia patients on task with daily routines, medication reminders, meals, activities, and smooth handoffs between care team members.
This App is NOT:
- cancel A medical device or clinical monitoring system
- cancel A substitute for professional medical care, nursing, or physician supervision
- cancel A guarantee that tasks will be completed or that the patient will be safe
- cancel Real-time location tracking or emergency alert system
Release of Liability & Full Absolution
By using Care Dementia Tracker, you (and every member of your care team) acknowledge and agree that:
RivetSoft - Care Dementia Tracker, its owners, employees, and affiliates are fully absolved and released from any and all liability for any harm, injury, illness, death, emotional distress, or loss related to the patient, including but not limited to:
- Any action or inaction taken based on reminders, logs, or information in the app
- Failure of a caregiver to complete a routine task
- Accuracy or completeness of user-entered data
- Any medical decision made by family members or medical professionals
- Any outcome whatsoever concerning the patient’s health or safety
All care decisions remain the sole responsibility of licensed caregivers, family members, and qualified medical professionals. This app is an organizational aid only.
Your Rights & Choices
You can edit or delete most information directly in the app. To request full account or data deletion, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
